Archived Offer Status

When an offer has had no changes nor received postbacks or clicks in 90 days, the offer status is set to archived. Don't worry all the data in the offer still remains.

Data for these offers such as budgets and landing pages are removed when archived, however they are all restored if you decide to revive the offer. Archival will increase the performance of the platform without losing any of your data.

Workflows & Alerts will not check or execute actions on archived offers.

πŸ’‘ Delete Replaced

The Delete status will be removed and replaced with Archived in v5.62, but any offers that were deleted before will remain deleted.

Updating API Synced Network Offers

In case you are updating offers that belong to networks that are integrated via API and are currently syncing to your Swaarm platform, keep in mind that Swaarm will always verify the status of the offer in the network API in real-time to make sure it is reflected on your Swaarm platform. The following cases can occur:

Case 1: Pending to Active then Paused

If you update a Pending offer to Active status, but the offer is Paused or not available in the network API at that particular moment, then Swaarm will set the status to paused (instead of to active), to be consistent with the network API, so that you don't send traffic to offers that are currently not available on your network API.

Case 2: Active/Paused to Pending

If you update an Active or Paused offer to Pending status, then the offer will always ignore the status updates coming from the network API since the offer is now a pending status in Swaarm.

At the moment of the updating the offer status from Pending to Paused (or between Active to Paused), Swaarm's platform will always verify the current status of the offer in the network API. and will behave accordingly to Case 1.

πŸ’‘ Pending vs Paused

Simply put, "Pending" stops syncing the offer.

"Paused" will continue syncing with any Advertiser API.
