Failed Click Rules: Check clicks that are discarded

Some clicks are discarded and you can find the reasons why they are discarded in Explorer by following the steps below:

  1. Go to Explorer

  2. On the Evaluation section select Failed Click Rules

  3. On the Measures section select Discarded Clicks

  4. You can then see how many clicks were discarded because of the Failed rules

Failed Status Rules: Check conversions that are not approved

Some conversions may have rejected or pending status and you can find the reason for the same under failed status rules.

There are 3 possible statuses that a Conversion can have:

  1. Approved (You will see the stats related to approved conversions in the Swaarm Platform)

  2. Pending

  3. Rejected

You can also see the reasons why some conversions are not approved by following the steps below:

  1. Go to Explorer

  2. On the Evaluation section select Status and Failed Status Rules

  3. On the Measures section select Total Conversions

  4. You can then see how many Conversions were pending or rejected due to the Failed Status Rules. Approved conversions will also be displayed with no failed status rules under it.

Failed Evaluation Rules

There are 2 possible decision values for every postback in the Swaarm platform. They are:

  1. PASSED: The Postback is forwarded to the publisher

  2. FAILED: The Postback is not forwarded to the publisher

Every postback in the Swaarm platform is evaluated against the optimization rules that are created in the platform. If a postback fails a particular rule, then the decision for the respective postback is set to "FAILED". Postbacks with the Failed decision are not forwarded to the publishers.

The reasons for a FAILED Postback can be found by selecting "Failed Evaluation Rules" in Explorer. You can find out the reason for those postbacks, by following the steps below:

  1. Go to Explorer

  2. On the Evaluation section select Decision and Failed Evaluation Rules

  3. On the Measures section select Act Conversion

  4. On the Measures section select Pub Conversion

You can then see how many Conversions FAILED (not forwarded to the publisher) due to the Failed Evaluation Rules. PASSED conversions are also displayed with no Failed Evaluation Rules under it.

You will also notice as per the image above that the Pub Conversions do not have any FAILED reason, and that they are marked as PASSED. That is because those postbacks were forwarded to the publisher and hence have status PASSED.
