How to Create & Edit an Offer in Swaarm

Start by going to the Offers Overview page and click Create+ in the top right corner.

Offer Creation & Edit Tabs

When creating a new offer, you will only see the general tab and not see any other tabs, until you input the required values and click save, then the other tabs will appear.

General Tab

The General Tab is the first tab when creating a new offer where you will input information such as the name of the offer, tracking URL, country & platform targeting and more.

Once you are done and click save on the General Tab, then the other tabs will appear and you can add events, advance targeting, payouts, budgets, and more described below.

Events

In this section, you can create and manage quality or monetization (paid) events.

Learn about configuring events for CPI & CPA offers:

Advanced Targeting

You can find the Advanced Targeting tab when you click save on the General tab. On this tab you can add a number of advanced targeting options based on the requirements, for example, if you would like to have traffic only from a specific targeted State and cities, you can add them in the Geo state and Geo Cities section.

Payouts

On the payout section, you can add the amount you receive from your advertiser as WeGet (Revenue). Then you can add the amount you pay to your publisher for each successful conversion under TheyGet (Cost). You can also add a Margin that will auto-calculate the TheyGet for you.

❗️Important

In revenue share offers, if the "TheyGet" value is specified as a fixed amount (indicating no margin configuration), we will use the "TheyGet" value instead of the sale_amount.

💡 Negative Payouts & Margins

If your campaign setup requires a negative payout or margin, then you can enter your negative payout, for example, as -1.50 or the margin as -20%.

Negative Payout Use Case Example: If you have $100 as a payout, but you need the payout to be $50. Then you can normalize the values by creating a conversion with a -$50 (negative) payout, therefore allowing the cumulative number to be normalized.

Default is considered Install when running CPA campaigns. Once you created an event you will be able to edit the payout for the event here.

Learn more about Targeted Payouts here.

Budgets

You can choose a hourly budget for the offer on the Budgets tab. You can set up budgets for Conversions, Clicks, and Revenue. The Conversion and Revenue Budget can be set up as a soft or a hard cap.

Landing Pages

You can create a landing page in this section as an addition to the default landing page we have in the General section (called tracking link) using the following steps:

  1. Insert a name other than the default

  2. Insert the preview URL. This can be the same as the original preview URL

  3. The ratio is the percentage of traffic you would like to redirect to this landing page

  4. Insert the Tracking link URL which generally is not the same as the default tracking link

  5. Insert the impression URL. You can get the impression macros in the Swaarm Advertiser tracking document.

SKAd Campaigns & SKAd Postback Links

SKAd Campaigns can be a whole topic in themselves. In case you are setting up these campaigns we have extensive documentation here to help you in setting these up. If you need further assistance reach out to our support team.
