Alerts

Many times your campaigns have KPIs where a simple mistake or an overlooked metric can lead to a loss in revenue. With the Alert system, you will be able to receive notifications and take action right away.

How to Setup an Alert?

  1. Go to Automation > Alerts

  2. Click + Create Alert Rule

  3. Add a name for your alert

  4. Include a description detailing what you want this alert to do

  5. Set to Active if you want the alert to start right away as soon as you save

  6. Choose which offers or partners should be taken into account for this alert.

    1. If no filters are added, all offers and partners will be considered for the below-configured conditions.

  7. Select the conditions that should be met in order to trigger the alert

    1. For statistics in relation to the above-selected filters and split by the following dimension

    2. Choose the thresholds and whether ALL or ANY need to match

💡Note: If you do not select the Postback Status and leave it empty, then the alert will only consider postbacks with the status Approved

    3. Select the timeframe for the condition

    4. Select what action will be performed at the end

      1. Depending on the dimension you chose in the "For" section, you have different actions to select. Some of these include notifying a user, or partner, changing status, and more.

  8. Click save

What Happens When the Alert is Triggered

When your alert is triggered you will see this red siren icon appear next to your alert name. You will also receive an In-app notification in the top right.

When you open the notification it will provide you with details on the alert as shown below.

You will also see a banner on top of the entity you set the alert for:

💡 Note

Alerts do not take action on archived offers.

Setting Up Notifications

When you click on your username in the top right and then click settings you will be directed toward Account Settings.

Email Notifications

Here you can set up how frequently you will receive emails for Alert notifications:

Once you have set your email preferences, it will send out an email to you when the alert is triggered.

What does your partner receive when you choose to notify them?

When you choose the action to notify the partner, the partner's contacts under the Partner Details > Contacts tab that has the 'Receives Notifications' enabled will receive an email. This email is only sent once per day with the subject headline "Daily Notification Summary for <Organization Name>". They will not see any sensitive details (like notifications sent to users 45, and 11) only what the alert is about or if their access has changed (similar to scheduled changes).

Special Case

If the alert is set on the Offer-Sub-Partner level, and the action is set to Block Sub ID or Unblock Sub ID, then it will create a traffic control rule under the Traffic > Control section like below. See more about Traffic Control here.
