How tags work in Swaarm - how to add tags to offers, advertisers, and publishers, and where tags can be used for filtering, automation, and smart links.

Updated this week

Tags let you group offers, advertisers, and publishers for organisation and automation. You can use tags to filter entities across overview pages, apply them as conditions in automation rules and workflows, and reference them in traffic targeting and smart links.

Tag permissions

Before creating tags, check who has permission to create new ones. By default, only users with a certain role and above can create custom tags - other users can only select from existing tags.

To configure tag permissions: Organization → Settings → Miscellaneous → Permissions

Adding tags to offers

  1. Go to Offer → Edit → General tab

  2. Find the Tags field (bottom right of the form)

  3. Type your tag and press Enter to add it - you can add multiple tags

  4. Click Save

Adding tags to advertisers

  1. Go to Advertiser page → Edit

  2. Find the Tags field

  3. Add tags separated by a space

  4. Click Save

Adding tags to publishers

  1. Go to Publisher page → Edit

  2. Find the Tags field

  3. Add tags separated by a space

  4. Click Save

Managing tags on overview pages

Tags can be managed from the Tags tab on offers, advertisers, or publishers overview pages :

  • Add - click + Add Tags to add one or multiple tags at once. You can also add the same tag to multiple entities in one step

  • Delete - click the red trash icon next to a tag to remove it - one at a time
