Integrating Google Ads with Swaarm requires three main components to be configured: the offer, the Google Ads-specific publisher, and the tracking URLs that will be applied within Google Ads. Each section below outlines the configuration steps in detail.
1. Offer Setup in Swaarm
Before generating the tracking template for Google Ads, your offer in Swaarm must be configured correctly:
Preview URL: The offer must be configured with a valid Preview URL. This will serve as the Final URL in your Google Ads campaign.
Macros: The offer should only contain macros that are supported by Swaarm.
Parallel Tracking: Ensure that Parallel Tracking is enabled for the offer.
2. Publisher Setup for Google Ads
A separate publisher needs to be created in Swaarm specifically for your Google Ads traffic. This is required to generate a Google-certified tracking URL:
Create Publisher: Create a new Publisher in Swaarm.
Tagging: Tag this new publisher as
GooglePublisher.Approval: Approve the newly created
GooglePublisheron the specific offer you intend to promote via Google Ads.
3. Generating and Setting the Tracking URL on Google Ads
Once the offer and publisher are configured, you can generate the required tracking Template for Google Ads:
A. Template URL (Tracking Template)
The tracking template is crucial for Swaarm to record and redirect the clicks.
Copy the Publisher Tracking URL: Navigate to your desired offer in Swaarm and copy the Publisher Tracking URL associated with the
GooglePublisher.

B. Final URL
The Final URL is the actual landing page where the user will be taken.
The Final URL for your Google Ads ad should be the Preview URL that was configured on the respective offer in Swaarm.
Once everything is in place, traffic from Google campaigns will be tracked on Swaarm and subsequently forwarded to the advertiser's offer.
