How to setup your Direct Advertiser Campaign in Swaarm

When you as a network working with a direct advertiser using the Swaarm SDK, the setup is straightforward and easy to accomplish. Since you will be receiving a direct tracking URL from the Advertiser, you will need to set a campaign up manually instead of pulling it from an API. We will go through the steps below from creating the Advertiser, the offer, and testing.

Create the Direct Advertiser

  1. Go to Advertisers Overview page

  2. Click +Create in the top right corner

  3. Input a Name for the advertiser

  4. Select the account manager responsible for this advertiser

  5. Input the advertiser's Address

  6. Select the advertiser's Country

  7. Select the Account Type Direct (since it is a direct advertiser)

    1. This is only a tag used for internal purposes, it does not affect traffic

  8. Set the status to Active (or else campaigns will not receive any traffic)

  9. Click Save

  10. Go to the Postback Links tab on the Advertiser you just created

  11. Copy the postback link needed and send it to your Advertiser

Testing the Offer

To make sure that everything is setup you can easily use the scan tool or send over a test link to your advertiser. We have guides on both:
