Push Tool

This article describes the features of the push tool and how to push a vast amount of offers to publishers with only a few clicks.

Updated over a month ago

The Swaarm platform provides you with the possibility to approve as many offers as you want to as many publishers as you want with a few clicks by using the Push Tool.

After reading this article, you will be able to select offers, and publishers set budgets as well as configure special payouts, click budgets, and send an email to notify your publishers about the recently approved offers.

The push tool has 4 steps:

Step 1: Select offers

  1. Click on Push Tool under the Tools section from the left menu bar.

  2. Select the offers that you require. You can apply multiple filters.

  3. Once selected, you can click on Show Selected. This will provide you with an overview of the offers that you want to proceed with.

  4. Click Next

💡Note: If an offer does not have a payout in any event or if the offer is archived, the checkmark will be disabled and the offer can't be selected.

Click on Show selected to double-check the offers that you have selected.

Step 2: Select publishers

  1. Select all the publishers that you want to approve the previously selected offers for.

  2. You can pick them manually or you can select all your publishers with one click.

  3. Only active publishers are displayed here.

  4. Click Next.

Step 3: Configure

This is the step where Special Payouts and Budgets are set per offer-publisher combination.

  • On the left-hand side you find the offers that you have selected

  • On the right-hand side the publisher per offer is displayed

There are two options to configure offer-publisher combinations.

First option: Set Global Values

The first option is by setting the values globally so that they are applied to every offer - publisher. Let's check how this is done:

  1. Set Margin: You can insert the margin that needs to be set and hit the refresh button next to it, which will set every “TheyGet” as per the margin.

  2. Set Budgets: The Budgets set on the publisher level will be visible in the push email

    1. Set Conversion Budget: When inserting a budget here, it will be applied to the budgets for all the publisher - offers. The default setup is 50 conversions.

    2. Set Revenue Budget: When inserting a budget here, it will be applied to the budgets for all the publisher - offers.

    3. Set Click Budget: The default setup is 10000 clicks.

    4. Set Impression Budget: The default setup is empty.

Second option: Customize values

On the left menu, you will find the offers, you selected previously. You can click on each tab and update the budgets and payouts for each combination. If it is a CPI offer, it will use the default event.

If it is a CPA offer it will use the paid event:

💡Note: We show the offer budgets and payouts in the placeholder if no offer publisher budget is configured, so that you can refer to the offer budgets and payouts before assigning the offer-publisher budget or payouts.

For example, In the following screenshot, values in the placeholder represent the offer budgets and payouts,

Additionally, the push tool will show you some hints that help you to troubleshoot the following cases:

Warnings

Warning: Special Payout

You will see the (S) icon when the Offer - Publisher combinations have a Special TheyGet:

Warning: High or low margin

If the Offer - Publisher Combination has a very high margin (higher than 90%) or a very low margin (lower than 10%), a warning sign will be displayed:

Warning: Offer has blocked publishers

If the Offer has a publisher in the list that was blocked previously, it will display a warning sign signaling you that you may not want to block this publisher.

Warning: Targeted Payouts

If the offer has a targeted payout, a warning will display with a link to the offer's targeted payout. See more about targeted payouts here.

Note: Publishers will receive the targeted payout with the targeting conditions in the push email.

Step 4: Review

In this step, you can review the offers that you are going to push to your publishers.

  1. Check if you sent an email to the publishers about these offers that will be used

  2. Click the Push Offers button when you are ready!

Keep in mind that if the check box for Send Notifications to Publishers is selected, an email will be triggered to the contacts of the selected publisher as long as their notification setting is enabled. More about that in this article.
