Schedule Changes Tool

How to create scheduled changes for offers and publishers in Swaarm, and where to view upcoming and previously executed changes.

Schedule Changes let you plan offer and publisher updates in advance — so they go into effect automatically at the right date and time, without manual intervention. You can view all upcoming and past changes in one place, and track their execution status.

Go to Tools -> Scheduled Changes


The Schedule Changes page

Go to Schedule Changes in the left menu to see all upcoming and past changes across your account.

Each entry shows the following:

The type of change: Payout Change, Budget Change, Offer Pause, Offer Change, Push Tool, or Publisher Stop

Internal note added by the person who created the change

Status

Queued - created but not yet executed;

Executed - applied successfully;

Failed - could not be applied

Scheduled for

When the change is set to take place

Created at

When the schedule change was created

Executed at

When the change was actually executed

Created by

Initials of the Swaarm user who created the change

You can filter queued changes by Status, and search further by Creator Name or Type.


Types of schedule changes

  • Offer Pause

  • Stop Publisher

  • Offer Budget Change

Offer Payout Change

Updates the default WeGet and TheyGet of an offer at the scheduled date.

To create:

  1. Open the offer's detail page and go to the Schedule Changes tab. Click on

    +Create Scheduled Change.

  2. Select the Payout tab.

  3. Set the date when the change should take effect.

  4. Enter the new WeGet and TheyGet values.

  5. Optionally add an external message (included in the notification email).

  6. Click Schedule.

How the notification email works:

  • Sent only to contacts of approved publishers - blocked publishers are excluded.

  • Sent only to contacts with the notification flag enabled. See how to configure this →

  • Publishers with a special payout will not receive the email, and their special payout remains unchanged.

ℹ️ Publishers with a special payout are marked with (S) in the publisher list on the Payout schedule change form.


Offer Pause

Updates the offer status to Paused at the scheduled date and time, and sends an email notification to approved publisher contacts.

To create:

  1. Open the offer's detail page and go to the Schedule Changes tab. Click on

    +Create Scheduled Change.

  2. Select the Pause tab.

  3. Set the date when the change should take effect.

  4. Select a reason for pausing - this pre-populates the message included in the notification email.

  5. Add an internal note (not sent to publishers).

  6. Click Schedule.

How the notification email works:

  • Sent only to contacts of approved publishers — blocked publishers are excluded.

Stop Publisher

Blocks one or multiple publishers on an offer at the scheduled date, and sends them an email informing them that the offer has been paused for them.

To create:

  1. Open the offer's detail page and go to the Schedule Changes tab. Click on

    +Create Scheduled Change.

  2. Select the Stop tab.

  3. Set the date when the change should take effect.

  4. Select a reason for blocking - this pre-populates the message included in the notification email.

  5. Select the publisher(s) to be blocked.

  6. Add an internal note (not sent to publishers).

  7. Click Schedule.

How the notification email works:

  • Sent only to contacts of the selected publishers that are currently approved on the offer.

  • Sent only to contacts with the notification flag enabled. See how to configure this →


Offer Budget Change

Updates the default budget of an offer at the scheduled date. No email is sent to publishers for this change type.

To create:

  1. Open the offer's detail page and go to the Schedule Changes tab. Click on

    +Create Scheduled Change.

  2. Select the Budget tab.

  3. Set the date when the change should take effect.

  4. Set the validity, type, threshold, and amount of the budget.

  5. Add an internal note (not sent to publishers).

  6. Click Schedule.


Offer Change

Updates any field from the offer's General tab at the scheduled date, and sends an email to approved publishers informing them of the change.

To create:

  1. Open the offer's detail page and click Edit Offer.

  2. Update the fields you want to change.

  3. Instead of clicking Save, select Schedule Update.

  4. Set the scheduled date.

  5. Add an external message for publishers.

  6. Add an internal note (not sent to publishers).

  7. Click Schedule.

Deleting a scheduled change

Only Queued changes can be deleted. Executed and failed changes cannot be removed from the system.

To delete a queued change:

  1. Go to Schedule Changes in the left menu.

  2. Filter by Queued in the Status field.

  3. Optionally narrow down results by Creator Name.

  4. Click the Delete button next to the change you want to remove.

The change will be cancelled and will not be executed.
