Organization: Platform Timezone

Configure a platform-wide timezone so all data, reports, and scheduled actions reflect your local time instead of UTC.

Overview

By default, Swaarm operates in UTC. If your business runs on a different timezone, you can configure a platform-level timezone so all data, reports, and scheduled actions automatically reflect your local time.

Where to Configure

Go to: Organization → Settings → General tab → Timezone

How to Set Up

  1. Go to Organization → Settings → General tab

  2. Click the Timezone dropdown and select your timezone

  3. Click Save

Once saved, the configured timezone is displayed in the top bar of the platform next to the current time.

What Is Affected

The configured timezone applies to:

  • All statistical data across the platform - tables, widgets, reports, charts, and graphs

  • All scheduled actions - schedule changes, workflows, email reports, etc.

  • The Partner Platform - publishers will also see data in the configured timezone

  • All timestamps entries on the overview tables including timestamps on existing entries (eg., created at, updated at, etc.) will be shown as per the local timezone

  • In Explorer and SQL studio, the local timezone should be supported while querying the data

  • Time targeting on offer and global level will work as per local timezone

ℹ️ Usage data is always shown in UTC regardless of the configured platform timezone.

Important Considerations

⚠️ Changing the platform timezone resets all active budgets. For example, if you have a daily conversion budget of 100 and it's already 50% reached, changing the platform timezone will cause the budget to start counting from zero at the next postback or at midnight in the new timezone. Conversions will only be set to pending once the budget of 100 conversions is met within that day.

To avoid unintended resets, adjust your budgets before changing the timezone.

💡 You can also set a timezone at the offer level, independently of the platform timezone. This is useful if you need specific offers to reset budgets at a different time. → Offer-level budget timezone. Offer-level budgets that already have a local timezone configured are not affected by a platform timezone change.
