Overview
Swaarm’s 24metrics integration provides detailed monitoring of click and conversion quality for your campaigns. This article outlines how to configure the integration in Swaarm, enable it across different hierarchy levels (Offer, Partner, Advertiser), and manage rules through the Swaarm UI.
Swaarm’s 24metrics integration allows you to:
Enable quality monitoring at the Publisher, Advertiser, and Offer levels, giving you more granular control over traffic evaluation
Automatically reject low-quality clicks and conversions in real time, with no delay in taking action
Add, edit, and manage rules directly within the Swaarm UI, giving you full control over how traffic is filtered
Activate 24metric's integration in Swaarm
Go to Organization > Settings > Connections Tab
Click on the 24metrics Tab
Enter your 24metrics Integration ID
Click Save
Configuring Optimization Rules in Swaarm
To activate the 24metrics rule on Clicks:
Go to Automation > Optimzations
To add a rule for a specific offer/advertiser/publisher click on +Create on the top right corner of the page
Select the respective offer/advertiser/publisher filter (as shown in the image below)
NOTE: If none of the offer/advertiser/publisher are selected, the rule applies to ALL
Select the rule type as Click
Select the rule as 24metrics Check
Select if you would like to Block the traffic (if not selected then its just used for reporting in the click report in Swaarm)
Lastly, select Active to activate the rule
With this rule, when a user clicks on an ad and lands on a Swaarm tracking link, Swaarm send a request to 24metrics to verify the click. Based on the settings and response from 24metrics, either the traffic is blocked or further redirected to the offer link.
To activate the 24metrics rule on Postbacks:
Go to Automation > Optimzations
To add a rule for a specific offer/advertiser/publisher click on +Create on the top right corner of the page
Select the respective offer/advertiser/publisher filter (as shown in the image below)
NOTE: If none of the offer/advertiser/publisher are selected, the rule applies to ALL
Select the rule type as Postback Decision
Select the rule as 24metrics Check
Select if you would like to Block the traffic (if not selected then its just used for reporting in the 24metrics dashboard)
Lastly, select Active to activate the rule
With this rule, when a postback is received by Swaarm (where is the 24metrics check is active), Swaarm send a request to 24metrics to verify the postback. Based on the settings and response from 24metrics, either the postback decision is failed and the postback is not passed to the publisher (if Block is selected) or the postback decision is passed and the postback is passed to the publisher (if Block is not selected).
Reporting for 24metrics
24metrics flagged clicks and conversions can be identified in the click and conversion reports respectively.
Clicks:
Clicks that are blocked by 24metrics will be discarded with the reason 24metrics check.
If the block setting is not set in the optimization rule, then the clicks are not blocked however, you can see the 24metrcis check result in Third Party Data column under the click report.
Conversions:
24metrics filtered conversions will have Evaluation Decision as Failed and Evaluation Decision Failed Rules as 24metrics Check. These postbacks are not forwarded to the publishers.
If the block is not set in the optimization rule, then the Evaluation Decision for the postback is set as Passed and the postback is forwarded to the Publisher. However, you can find further details about the postback verification in the 24metrics dashboard.
