Integration - Anura

This article describes how to integrate with Anura to help prevent fraudulent traffic

Anura is a fraud detection and protection solution that helps to prevent fraud. You can find more details about Anura here.

The following steps describe how to integrate your Swaarm platform with Anura:

Add the Anura API Key

  1. Go to Organization > Settings > Connections Tab

  2. Click on the Anura Tab

  3. Enter your Anuara API Key

  4. Click Save

Select the Optimization Rule

Swaarm can integrate with Anura in 2 ways:

  • Anura Direct: This is the server to server integration with Anura.

    • To add this rule, follow the setps below:

      • Go to Automation > Optimzations

      • To add a rule for a specific feed/provider/publisher click on +Create on the top right corner of the page

      • Add the respective feed/provider/publisher filter (as shown in the image below)

        • NOTE: If none of the feed, provider, or publisher are selected, the rule applies to ALL

      • Select the rule type as Click

      • Select the rule as Anura Direct

      • Select if you would like to Block the traffic (if not selected then its just used for reporting in your Anura platform)

      • Lastly, select Active to activate the rule

    • With this rule, when a user clicks on an ad and lands on a Swaarm tracking link, Swaarm send a server request to Anura to verify the user

    • Based on the response from Anura, either the traffic is blocked or further redirected to the feed link

  • Anura Script: This is a script integration with Anura.

    • With this rule, when a user clicks on an ad and lands on a Swaarm tracking link, the user is first verified by Anura via an HTML script and user will encounter a meesage (as shown in the image below). Depending on the result from Anura, either the traffic is blocked or further redirected to the feed link.

    • To add this rule, follow the setps below:

      • Go to Automation > Optimzations

      • To add a rule for a specific feed/provider/publisher click on +Create on the top right corner of the page

      • Add the respective feed/provider/publisher filter (as shown in the image below)

      • Select the rule type as Click

      • Select the rule as Anura Script

      • Lastly, select Active to activate the rule
