Updated over a year ago

Event Log

Sometimes, the user needs to download a click log or an impression log to share with their partners. Event Log reports provides this data that you can download as a CSV. Whether it is to investigate a traffic source or to optimize and scale a campaign, the event logs will provide all the details needed on Clicks, Impressions, and Click Redirection all in one report.

How to Create an Event Log Report?

  1. Go to Reports > Event Log

  2. Click + Create in the top right

  3. Choose a date range for the report

  4. Select the type of log:

    1. Click Log - All details regarding clicks

    2. Click Redirection - Details regarding tracking URLs

    3. Impressions - Impression details

  5. Filter for any Apps, Offers, Partners, or Sub IDs

    1. The filter logic is "AND" meaning that you filter for "Offer1 and Partner2"

  6. Click Generate

  7. Your report will then be queued and shortly after a few minutes you will be able to download the event log

💡Note

If the report has no data then you will see Empty under the status column and you will not be able to download the report.

Managing Logs

When you go to the Event Log you will see all generated event logs. You can easily filter logs by:

  • Type

  • Apps

  • Offers

  • Partners

  • Sub IDs

You can download your generated reports as a CSV file.

Users can download up to a max of 7 days of data. It can be any 7 days (not just the past 7 days). And there is no download limit. However, if there is a huge log that has the potential to crash a CSV file, Swaarm has provided a time range, as well in the date picker, so users can download logs for as specific hour or similar.

If you no longer need the report then you can delete any unwanted logs by clicking the trash icon.

💡Note

After 7 days from the file generated, the Event Log will be removed.
